LumArc is a architectural studio based in Stockholm. The studio, founded in 2012, is headed up by James Buchanan who is a registered architect in Sweden.  In addition to this, James is an ARB registered architect in the United Kingdom.

 

James has over 20 years experience having worked for a number of different firms in Sweden and the UK. He has worked within a wide range of sectors including museum, cinema, residential and commercial design and was part of the team that delivered the prize-winning museum, The Collection, in Lincoln. James studied at the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff and was nominated for the RIBA President's Medals Student Awards in 2001. Click here to read his ​CV in English or Swedish.​
