This project is an extensive house renovation and extension in Sussex.

 

The existing bungalow sits on an extensive site that slopes away dramatically from the rear of the house giving the opportunity to create extensive views over the High Weald AONB.

 

To take advantage of this, an additional level of accommodation is proposed with a full width master bedroom to the north with spectacular views. At ground level, the house is to be extended to the east to create new kitchen, dining and living areas. A living 'slot' is created between the existing bungalow and new extension providing views towards the garden as soon as one enters the main entrance.
